James L. Noulis

James L. Noulis Raleigh- James L. Noulis age 77 fell asleep in the Lord July 11, 2012 at his home in North Myrtle Beach, SC James was born in Drama, Greece and is the son of Leonidas Noulis and Photini Economou. He is survived by his wife Roberta Noulis, daughters Elaine Noulis and her sons Henry and James Hobgood of Raleigh, Dianna Callas (George) of Atlanta, and Mary Noulis (Joel) and her children Michael Ryder, Johanna, and Tyler Ward of Holly Springs, step-daughters Dorothy Cooper (Bob) and son Corey of Myrtle Beach, and Julie Brown (West) and son Lawson of Wilmington. He is also survived by his sister Diana Papadopoulos and her daughters of Thessaloniki, Greece and his nephew Akis Pistiolis and his daughters, also of Thessaloniki. He came to this country at the age of 19 and then graduated from SMU in 1957. He and his family moved to Raleigh in the early 70s and he was well known as the General Manager of the Royal Villa Hotel on Glenwood Ave. During the 80s he also co-founded American Hotel Management Associates, from which he retired. The services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Lead Mine Road in Raleigh on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1p.m. Interment will be at Raleigh Memorial Park.
