James Larry Moore

ANGIER - James Larry Moore, a charismatic and quick-witted soul, passed away on November 19, 2023. Born on May 6, 1948, in Harnett County, James left behind a legacy of laughter and cherished moments. A proud Vietnam War veteran, he not only displayed courage on the battlefield but also had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him.

In his professional journey, James contributed significantly to the agricultural community. He worked at Green Seed Company and later Evergreen Seed, where he served as operations manager. Throughout his tenure, James played a pivotal role in meeting clients' needs across North Carolina and Virginia, earning respect for his dedication and expertise in the seed industry.

Preceded in death by his parents, James Moore and Lucy Moore, James is survived by his son, Douglas Moore, his daughter-in-law, Terri Moore, and his beloved granddaughter, Maci. His sister, Sandra McLean, fondly remembers a brother known for his humor and playful spirit.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd at 2:30 pm at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
