James Leigh Jimmy Stephenson

Fuquay-Varina- James Leigh Jimmy Stephenson, 70, died Monday. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edna Griffin StephensonA memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Layden Memorial United Methodist Church, Raleigh.The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Debbie Stephenson of Fuquay-Varina; son Kevin Stephenson and wife, Jennifer of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Iris Hayes of Fuquay-Varina and Anne Stanley of Angier; brothers, Larry Stephenson of Clarksville, TN, Johnnie Stephenson of Angier and J.E. Stephenson of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Jessica Brubaker and husband, Alex and Alex Stephenson, all of Fuquay-Varina, Haley and Dylan Stephenson of Georgia and great-grandchild, Addison Keever. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jewel Temple and brothers, Royce Stephenson and Arvalee Stephenson.
