James Luther Williford

ANGIER – James L. Williford, 84, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 5, 2022. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow in the Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. James was born to the late Luther and Inez Williford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Portia Metz and Connie Jean Williford; brothers, Jimmy, Joe and Ray; sisters, Ruby, Eloise and Jean. James is survived by his loving wife, Cozie; children, David Williford, Sherry Sorrell (Corbin), Jenny Phillips (Steven), Stamey Williford (Wanda); brother, Gerald; sisters, Sylvia and LaRue; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
