ANGIER – James Mack Dupree, 75, passed away Thursday at his home. A native of Harnett County, he is the son of the late Mack Garland and Annie Rose (Pleasant) Dupree. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Chapman (Donald), Tonya Bowden (Robert); sons, Mike Dupree (Sue), Donald Dupree (Christy); sisters, Jennetta Deal, Gale Creech, and Barbara Ann Young; grandchildren, Heather Van Riper, Dean Chapman, Daniel Chapman, Steven Chapman, Brittany Adams, J.R. Wagner, Ronnie Dale Dupree, Quamane McLeod, Caley McLeod, Bryan King, Callie King, Taylor Fleury; great-grandchildren, Kane Stiles, Jase Van Riper, Ryan Grace Chapman, Garrett Chapman, Maddie Chapman, Kolten Chapman, Brayden Pierce, Brently Pierce, Scheyer Wagner, Weston Wagner, Landon Wagner and Chase King. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Plainview Presbyterian Church, Angier, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances W. Dupree; brother, Bobby Dupree; and sister, Nell Cutts and a great-granddaughter, Mia King.
