James Mark Stancil died peacefully in the compassionate care of Hospice Home in Raleigh, NC on November 5, 2011. He was born in Raleigh, NC on October 5, 1955 to the late James Willard Stancil and Alice Ennis Stancil of Raleigh, NC.He is survived by his wife Deborah Flynn Stancil of Raleigh and Children Amanda Rosine Stancil, Laura Flynn Johnson both of Raleigh and son Jacob Mark Stancil of Leesburg, VA.He is survived by his sister Toni Stancil Deichmann and husband Mike Deichmann of New Bern, NC and brother Bruce McLamb and wife Gail McLamb also of New Bern, NC. Additionally his mother in law Ann B. Flynn, his brother in law Mike Flynn and wife Connie and brother in law Randy Flynn and wife Deborah and their respective children all of Wake Forest, NC.Mark was a Master Carpenter all of his life and loved dearly the work that he did and if observed, a happy meticulous artist. He was determined and proud and creative with any project. He was a captivating person who influenced many lives and had a way of bringing people together. He loved living and was a kind hearted and sensitive man. Many, many friends and family and a most special Harley dog will miss him dearly. Mark had found his sense of peace and often said that the last few years of his life were the most fulfilling. The family would like to express their appreciation for the quality care of Hospice of Wake County especially the alternative home care team and staff at Hospice Home.
