James R. Hiseler, 79, went home to be with the Lord August 6, 2022. Beloved husband of 42 years, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. In the hymn, Blessed Assurance, Fanny Crosby wrote: "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine; Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His spirit, washed in His blood. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending, bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long!" This was Jim's story and he prayed it would also be yours. Jim's legacy lives on through his loving wife, Sharon; his three children, James R. Hiseler, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer; Katelyn Johnson and her husband, Timothy; and Ashley Frey and her husband, Michael; and three grandchildren: Cole, Noah, and Wyatt Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to THRUtheBIBLE at TTB.org.
