James Willard Agnew, Jr.

James Willard Agnew, Jr., 88, went to be with Jesus, Thursday, May 14, 2020. He was born February 20, 1932 in Haw River, NC, to the late James Willard and Virgie Law Agnew. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 18, 2020, at 11AM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 10005 Lake Wheeler Road, Fuquay Varina, NC 27526. James is survived by his daughter, Tammy Agnew Davis; sister, Peggy Conklin and husband Coy; grandson, Jamie Davis and wife, Erin; and sister in law, Geraldine Stuffel. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jean Agnew and son in law, Gregory W. Davis. James loved his family and friends, puppy dogs, playing his guitar and singing, and supporting his favorite basketball team the Duke Blue Devils. He enjoyed meeting people and helping them in any way he could. Most importantly he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
