Jane E. Smith

Garner - Jane Ellicott Smith, 94, passed away on Friday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Mildred Thornberry Ellicott. In addition to her parents Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith, daughter, Sharon Smith.Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday at New Bethel Baptist Church, Garner. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The burial will take place at a later date at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.Surviving is her daughter, Ruth Boulter and companion, Van Hawkins of Rochester, NY; son, Robert Smith and companion, Sherri Burnett of Buffalo, NY; sister, Doris Steinbeck and husband, Neil of Washington State; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her lifelong friends, Bill Sorrell and Gwen Dawson.
