Jane Lois Ballard Sharp

Jane Lois Ballard Sharp passed away July 12, 2015 @ 11:25AM. Mrs. Sharp was employed by Diverse Hospitality for 30 years, and retired to start her own restaurant in Durham, NC called the Redwood Cafe. Mrs. Sharp graduated from Business School in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and business woman. Mrs Sharp was a resident of Durham County for 25 years, and was born in New Jersey on August 17th, 1945. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her husband Dennis Sharp, daughters Barbra Kearney and Tamula-Jean Sharp Vara, her sons James Kearney, Keith Kearney, Lawrence Kearney, Brian Kearney, and Eugene Sharp, her sisters Joan Stoleman, Carolyn Carlyn, her brothers Warren Ballard and Steve Ballard and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh. The family will greet visitors following the service.
