Jane Smith Tutor

ANGIER - Jane Smith Tutor, 81, of 280 Montague Road passed away Tuesday morning. A native of Harnett County she is the daughter of the late Clyde and Letha Hockaday Smith. She was a member of the Angier Baptist Church and was a founder, volunteer for over twenty years and board member of Hospice of Harnett Co. She was a retired employee of C & D Insurance Agency with over 38 years of service. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 63 years, Brantley A. Tutor. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Brant Tutor and wife, Janet of Angier; brother, Robert E. Bob Smith and wife Bobbie of Kure Beach; granddaughter, Melissa T. Harrelson and husband, James of Angier and son, Griffin Barefoot, and Mandy Parrish Tutor Veller and husband, Adam of Angier and children, Carson Tutor, Morgan, Kelsy and Raegan Veller.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan M. Tutor.The family will receive friends on Wednesday night 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Angier Baptist Church Building Fund, P.
