Janet Hagwood Bigler

RALEIGH- Janet Hagwood Bigler, 81, a beautiful angel, received her wings on Tuesday, as heaven rejoiced. A native of New York, she was raised in Conshohocken, PA.   A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Holland’s United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.   Survivors include her husband, Jack Bigler; daughter, Sheila Parker of Greenville, NC; granddaughter, Blair Eason and great-granddaughter, Nora Anne Denhalter of Goldsboro; son-in-law, Steven Bigler and wife, Carrie of Raleigh; grandchildren, Cameron, Georgia, Whitt and Riggs Bigler, all of Raleigh.   In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hagwood and daughters, Libby Hathaway, Shirley Hathaway and Susan Hagwood.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holland’s United Methodist Church, 9433 Ten-Ten Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
