GARNER - Janie Revels Austin, 88, loving Mother, MeMa and Great MeMa went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 10, 2011. Welcoming her with open arms was her beloved Cecil, husband of 62 years and her precious son, C.W., Jr. A longtime member of Garner United Methodist Church, Nanny Bryan Sunday School and Hi Neighbor Club. She retired after 30 years from Hudson Belk as manager of the girls and infants department.Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Garner United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.Surviving include her daughter, AnnAustin McCluskey and husband, Larry; daughter-in-law, Christi Austin; grandchildren, Cindy Hudson (W.C.), Leigh Ann Summers (Joey), Hannah Arrington (Billy), Maggie Austin and Seth Austin; great grandchildren, Brighton and Jordan Hudson, Chandler and Christian Summers. She was predeceased by 2 loving sisters and 5 loving brothers.The family would like to especially thank all the staff at The Laurels who have so loving cared for our Mother for all these years.
