Jason Christopher Sents

RALEIGH – Jason Christopher Sents , 44, died peacefully on June 5, 2016 at Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh, after a brave fight with a long illness. Jason was born on December 5, 1971. He was raised in Vestal, NY and graduated from SUNY Brockport (BA) and Binghamton University (MA). He began his career in Syracuse, NY as a geologist specializing in computer data modeling. He loved the outdoors, camping, nature and was an accomplished photographer, among many other interests. Jason is survived by his parents, John and Veronica; brothers, John Jr. (Judy), Jeff (Lisa); aunts, Grace Rossi and Marge Maciolek; his uncle Bob; several cousins; numerous other personal and internet friends; and his cat Leia. Jason was a loving son and good man, who cared more about others than himself. He managed to keep his sense of humor and positive outlook despite an unbelievably valiant struggle. He will be missed dearly. Donations in his honor may be made to Transitions LifeCare Hospice Home in Raleigh, NC or to a charity of ones choice.
