Jean Ball Bryan

Garner – Joyce Jean Ball Bryan, 89, widow of Robert A. “Bob” Bryan, passed away on Monday. Jean was born in Johnston County to the late Sterling H. and Florence Adams Ball.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church, Garner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the burial.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Brenda Sutton and husband, Rex Inman of Reidsville, Pat Blackwell (Paul) of Garner, Susan Moffitt (David) of Hendersonville, TN; sons, Bobby Bryan (Monica) of Garner, Tim Bryan (Kristin) of Cornelius; grandchildren, Martha Sutton Mitchell, Sammy Bryan (Jess), Robert Bryan (Kelly), Rebekah Blake (Heston), Hannah Blackwell, Abigail Rea (Chris), Grace Moffitt, Glory Moffitt, John David Moffitt (McKay); sister, Cathy Rackley (Billy) of Raleigh; brothers, Forrest Ball (Marsha) and Roger Ball (Sharon) all of Raleigh; 3 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by grandson, Bryan Thomas Sutton; and brothers, Henry Ball and John Ball.
