Jean Matthews Chisenhall

ANGIER – Jean Matthews Chisenhall, 86, passed away Sunday at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Born in Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge Dewey Matthews and Clara Day Matthews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Kristi Day Chisenhall Clayborne and husband, Phillip; son, Lance “Bart” Chisenhall and wife, Beth; sister, Faye Burch of Angier; grandchildren, Johnathon Chisenhall, Dylan Chisenhall, Adrianna Chisenhall, Allen Garcia, Blake Garcia, and Shane Clayborne; great-grandchildren, Jedidiah Chisenhall and Magnolia Garcia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Robert Louis Chisenhall, and sisters, Eula Mae Matthews, Luella M. Reaves, and Christie M. Parham.
