Jean Wrenn Teague

GARNER - Jean Wrenn Teague, 82, went to live with the Lord on October 2, 2011. Jean was a faithful and devoted servant of God and a member of the Garner United Methodist Church family. She instilled Faith, Hope, and Love in her family and friends through her lifelong commitment to supporting and helping others. Jean was born in Garner, NC on February 17, 1929, to Ruth Hobby Wrenn and Herbert Benton Wrenn. She graduated from Garner High School and retired from Durham Life Insurance Company after more than 30 years of service. Funeral service will be held at Garner United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 5, with visitation at the church from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Teague, Jr. and her sister, Sue Wrenn Desern. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia W. and Nick R. Harrison, Jr. and by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve C. and Billi U. Wilson; grandchildren, Joseph R. and Brandy H. Harrison and children, Carter and Emily; and Matthew R. and Angie M. Harrison and children, Ashlyn and Ryan; four step children, twelve step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren; and three special nieces.
