Jean Young Hardee

RALEIGH - Jean went to join Bobby on his journey with the Lord. She made her peaceful transition on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

She was able to have time talking with her family prior to her death expressing she had no fear. She was ready to see the Lord and her beloved husband.

She had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby; and her parents, Louise Young and Wilton Young.

She is survived by her children, Robert Hardee (wife Brookey Duckworth Hardee) and Leigh Anne Hardee; and her grandchildren Tyler Hardee (wife Dr. Maggie Harris Hardee), Sydney Hardee Farrow (husband Will Farrow), and Olivia Hardee.

She, and her lap, will be missed by her dog, Charlie.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm with visitation prior to the service at 1:00 pm, at Emmanuel Baptist Church 2100 Noble Rd., Raleigh, NC 27608.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.
