Jeffrey George Watkins

Cary, NC- Jeffrey George Watkins, also known as Frog, 57, of Cary died Saturday. He was born in Apex, North Carolina to Ernest and Stella Watkins. Jeff was a loving husband and father to four sons. He worked at American Airlines and Nortel for many years. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed traveling, collecting classic cars, and spending time with family. Jeff is survived by his wife, JoAnn Watkins; sons, Brent, Joshua, Zachary, and Nicholas Watkins; brother, Ricky and wife Karen Watkins; sisters, Peggy and husband Clarence Scollon, Joyce and husband Howard Taylor, Pat and husband Earl Ferrell; mother-in-law, Faye Etheridge, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 1st at Sorrells Grove Baptist Church, Morrisville.
