Jennifer J. Pope

Angier - On March 31, 2014, Jennifer Marie Johnson Pope gracefully took her position in the safe and loving arms of Jesus. Born January 29, 1982, she grew up in Harnett County graduating with a Phlebotomist and CNA licenses from Central Carolina Community College and was currently employed with BHI at Duke Energy. She was a member of Solid Rock Ministries, Church of The Living God in Angier and also a member of The Children of Zion Dance Team within Solid Rock Ministries. Jennifer had a passion for her children, her family, helping everyone, hunting, fishing & butterflies, but her ultimate passion was for Jesus and dancing for him.Jennifer is survived by three children Austin and his father, Jack Carroll of Angier, Caitlin and Nathan and their father, Ron Pope of Erwin, NC; parents Ricky and Pam Johnson of Angier; brother, Daniel Johnson and wife, Priscilla and her niece Kayla of Angier; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Othella Berger of Raleigh, Jerry Wilkins of Angier, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.A gathering for all who were touched by Jennifer will be held at Solid Rock Ministries, located at 340 E. Wimberly St., Angier NC on Friday April 4 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bryan - Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St., Angier. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ricky & Pam Johnson, 703 Lipscomb Road, Angier NC, 27501, for the children of Jennifer.
