Jeri Lynn Gouch

BUIES CREEK – Jeri Lynn Gouch, 71, died Tuesday, January 18th, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, due to complications from ovarian cancer. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Epperson and Eula Brandenburg Epperson. Jeri received a Master of Science degree from the University of North Florida. She had a heart for service, working as a registered nurse for over 40 years. She was well loved for her quick wit, wide smile, and love for animals. She will be sorely missed by many. She is survived by her daughter, Heaven Gouch; son, David Gouch; son, Aaron Moody; sister, Janis Epton; nieces and nephews; and loyal canine companion, Sammy. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 23rd at 2pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Angier, NC.
