Jerry Joseph Fadoil

March 28, 1945 — November 5, 2020

GARNER - Jerry J. Fadoil went home to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 5, 2020. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cynthia Bryan Fadoil, his “Monkey,” Kristen White Hansen, soon-to-be son-in-law, Michael, and the apples of his eyes, Taylor and Alex Hansen. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Fadoil. He leaves behind many family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was greatly loved by all. Jerry had a special light inside of him that shone through to all those whose lives he touched. Many describe the twinkle he had in his eyes. He had a way of bringing laughter to those needing cheer, comfort to those feeling uncertain, and security to those needing protection. His hugs were genuine, sincere, and, quite frankly, top of the line. He was a hard-working and dependable man, staying with one company for his entire 45-year career. Jerry was respectful of others and their time. He would rather be an hour early than a minute late, a motto that became a little more flexible if he had to spend that extra hour in a suit. He was a simple man with few needs and even fewer wants. Family, friends, food, fellowship, flannel, and his fur baby (Hannah) completed him quite well. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Transitions Life Care, especially the wonderful doctors, nurses, and nurse aides at the William Dunlap Hospice Home, who surrounded him and his family with peace and comfort during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midway Baptist Church and Transitions Life Care. Funeral arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral home in Garner, with internment at Montlawn Memorial Cemetery. Graveside service will be Monday, November 9 at 11:00am at Montlawn.
