Jerry Lee Reaves

ANGIER – Jerry Lee Reaves, 75, passed away at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh on Friday. Jerry was born in Wake County but was raised in Angier. He lived most of his life, raised his family and was a lifelong farmer in the Angier area. He was the son of the late W.R. Reaves, Jr. and Mildred Weaver Reaves. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18th at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Angier where he was a lifelong member. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Jerry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lena Parrish Reaves; daughters, Dena Lacis (Jason) of Jacksonville, Kamie Burns (Tommy) of Angier, Kasey Reaves of Benson; grandchildren, Savannah Lacis, Jon Lacis, Annalyn Lacis, Eli Burns, and Addyson Burns. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s memory to: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Attn: Building Improvements at 851 Oak Grove Church Road, Angier, NC 27501.
