Jerry Lee Williams

GARNER-Jerry Lee Williams, 75, passed away suddenly on Monday. Jerry grew up in Boaz, Al. and worked at IBM in Huntsville, Al for 13 years and transferred to RTP in 1977. He later retired from IBM and started his own landscaping business. Jerry was a hardworking man all of his life. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Highland Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton. Surviving: his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Reed Williams; his two sons, Jason Reed Williams and his fiancé, Valerie Boucher and Jarrod Lee Williams and his wife, Kristin Williams; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Grantham and her husband, Jason Grantham, Jenna Williams and her special friend, Bryan Daniels, Joelle Williams, Jacob Williams and Ella Williams; two brothers, Tom and Howard Williams and a sister, Carolyn Cornutt. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church Building Fund, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh NC 27603.
