Jewell Averette Sauls

Jewell A. Sauls, 91, passed away Aug. 5, 2019. A native of Granville, Co. she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Averette. Jewell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great –grandmother, sister and friend. She was a charter member of Turner Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday Aug. 8, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Sauls and sisters, Mabel Cashwell, Edith Sorrell, Elfleda Pope and Peggy Baker; brothers, Hunter Averette, Vernon Averette, JC Averette, Nelson Averette and Harold Averette. She is survived by daughter; Barbara Bowen and husband Davis; sons, Marshall Sauls and wife Brenda and Herbert Sauls and wife Teresa; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
