Jim A. Bell

Garner- CDR Jim A. Bell, USN (Ret.), 66, died Tuesday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Alvin Victor Bell and Annie Lacy Carlyle Bell. Mr. Bell proudly served his country for 24 years. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Friday at St. Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Church, 1008 Vandora Springs Rd. Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Anne Bell; daughters, Jennifer Holt and husband, Adam of Garner; Sarah Bell of Garner; sons, Nathan Bell and wife, Jenny of Cary, and Jordan Bell of Garner; sisters, Ruby Harris and husband, Randy of Cleveland, OH and Vicky Bell of Zebulon; 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
