Jim Pittman

James Ray Pittman, 86, passed away on Thursday. Mr. Pittman was a retired air cargo supervisor with Eastern Airlines and a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, at Noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 831 Wake Forest Road. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 AM until Noon. Surviving are his daughter, Beverly P. Price and her husband William J. Price, Jr. of Raleigh; grandson, James Thomas Petty; granddaughter, Sarah Petty Faucette and her husband Justin M. Faucette; great-granddaughter, Madison J. Petty; and a sister, Mildred P. Duffie of Raleigh. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Music Ministry Program, 4301 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC 27604
