Jo Mauree Earp Gilmore

Jo Mauree Earp Gilmore, 91, died Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born on December 15, 1926 in Winchester, VA to the late Ben Joe Earp and Avis Jones Earp. She was a retired nutritionist with the NC State Extension Service and a member of Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert Campbell Gilmore. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Hall and husband, Steve of Prosperity, SC; son, Robert Samuel Gilmore and wife, Rita of Raleigh; grandchildren, James W. Gilmore and Grace B. Gilmore. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church with Rev. Betty Connette officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Interment will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Montlawn Memorial Park.
