Joanne Deans Benson

Clayton- Joanne Deans Benson, age 64, passed away May 19, 2021 at the JMH-Clayton, after a period of declining health. She was born in Johnston County, March 22, 1957 to the late Riley and Geraldine Deans. Joanne was known for her caring, nurturing, and upbeat spirit to all those around her. She is survived by her daughter, Kristi Barbour and husband Brandon of Clayton, Son, Corey Benson of Clayton, and grandson, Dylan Barbour of Clayton, and her beloved Pit Bull, Precious. A visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-9 PM. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 PM at Cardinal Acres.
