Joe L. Lipscomb

Joe Lee Lipscomb, 82, died Monday. Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late Tom and Eliza Lipscomb. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Carolina Pines Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11:00 am prior to the service. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Lipscomb; son, Lee Lipscomb; sister, Anne Britt and sister-in-law, Joyce Canady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carolina Pines Baptist Church, 2655 S. Saunders St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
