Joel Matthew Nicely

Joel Matthew Nicley, 34, of Wake County. Born October 30,1989, was suddenly taken from us to be with the Lord on December 16,2023. Joel was proceeded in death by grandfather, Bobby Sanderson; father, Samuel Blalock, and his brother, "Bo" Blalock.

He is survived by his daughters, Sayla and Aubrey Nicley; fiance, Cenoa Combs; grandmother, Betty Sanderson; mother, Gwen Blalock; sister, Rebecca Nicley; brother, Keith Gibson and his nieces and nephew; five uncles, and a host of family and friends.

Joel was greatly loved by each and everyone around him. A wonderful father, loving and caring son and brother. He was a very talented and hard working provider for his family. Joel put a smile in everyone's heart when he was around. Never a dull moment!

Services will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529. The wake will be held between 2-4pm followed by the funeral services at 4pm. Family and friends are gathering together after to celebrate Joel at his mothers home in Willow Springs.
