FUQUAY-VARINA – John David Wallace, 31, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday. Born in Wake County, he was the son of James “Bud” Avery Wallace, III and Debora Hamilton Wallace. His bright smile and quiet demeanor will always be a fond memory for those who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 2:00 at Kipling United Methodist Church, Kipling. Inurnment will follow the service at Olive Branch Cemetery, Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
John David loved the outdoors and the beach. He was always eager to go hunting or fishing. He often would take walks through the woods, enjoying the peacefulness and calm of the moment or scouting out the best place to put a tree stand.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind three children, Avery Grace, Mack and Weston Wallace, all of whom he cherished; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Ashley Wallace; nephews, Brantley and Brighton Wallace, all of Fuquay-Varina; grandmothers, Billie Hamilton of Kipling and Lou Wallace of Goldsboro. Also surviving are his aunt and uncle, Vicki and Ben Betts; cousins, Chris and Jessica Betts, and Lane, Matthew, Ameron and Mason Betts, all also of Fuquay-Varina.
Even after leaving this earth, John David blessed others through his unselfish gift of organ donation in the hopes that the recipients can live on because of him.
To honor John David, the family would ask that you show or perform an act of kindness to or a good deed for someone in the coming days.
