John Jack Michael Cullen

John Michael Cullen (Jack), 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at his home in Raleigh, NC. He was born on July 15, 1936 to the late Michael and Margaret Cullen in Queens, NY. He married his loving wife, the late Arleen Mary Rosen on September 19, 1964. A lengthy career at IBM led him to reside in Pittsburgh, PA, Flanders, NJ and Manassas, VA, before moving permanently to Raleigh in 1978, where he lived the remainder of his life. He is survived by his four children, Michael Jude Cullen, and his wife, Jackie, of Raleigh, Tara Cullen Cuff, and her husband, Chris, of Cary, John Cullen (Sparky), and his wife, Jennifer, of Cary, and Marc Cullen, and his wife, Emily, of Cary; and five grandchildren, Camryn Alexandra Cullen, Bailey Elizabeth Cullen, Carleigh Paige Cullen, Cullen James Cuff, and Scarlett Arleen Cullen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2 PM at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. The family will receive friends at St. Raphael prior to the service from 1 - 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
