John Jeff Bridges

Garner - John Jeff Bridges, 89, passed away on Monday. He was son to the late Fred P. Bridges and Ava Honeycutt Bridges. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine P. Bridges. Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.John retired from the Town of Garner and worked part time for many years at Williams Used Cars in Fuquay-Varina, N.C.Survivors include his sister, Bessie B. Williams and husband, Delmas; brother, Ernest Bridges and wife, Joyce; nieces, Bonnie Goad and husband, Bob, Audrey Harty and great-nephew, Scott Harty.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
