Lord, prepare me for the work that You have chosen me to do; In every task before me, may I bring honor to You. And when the moment comes that I just face the fire, may following and serving You still be my true desire. John, God, saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.” With tearful eyes, I watched you and saw you pass away. I held your hand and listened to your last breath, knowing you were finally at peace. God has blessed me with having you as my best friend and the love of my life for over eleven years. John, I love you with all my heart and know that I will be with you once again.
