Mike retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after serving 27 ½ years. He then worked for the Air Force Civil Service for another 17½ years before fully retiring. Mike and his wife Vicki were married for 51 years. They spent those years together traveling the world with his military assignments, settling in Crestview, FL after his retirement. In 2016, they moved a final time to Willow Spring, NC. Mike loved to fish, hunt, and golf while he was able to. He was very active in his daughters lives and enjoyed going camping and hiking with his family. After retirement, he really enjoyed reminiscing with former military friends from Misawa, Japan. He also enjoyed talking WWII history with the son of a former soldier who served with his father. He was also active with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He loved NASCAR and, of course, the Green Bay Packers. He was an animal lover and spent time in shelters playing with the dogs and cats. He was very close to his grandchildren and enjoyed talking to them and hearing about all of their activities. He was always at their events when they were younger and lived closer. After they moved, he always looked forward to their visits. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Sidney Clarence Miller and Lillian Josephine Miller of Waupaca, WI. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Miller; his brother, Patrick Miller; his two daughters, Tonia Michelle Roark and Shawna Marie Chase; and two grandchildren, Tyler Glen Roark and Kaelyn Helene Roark.
