John R. Stancil, Iii

BURLINGTON– John Russell Stancil, III, 30, passed away Sunday, December 20th, 2020 in Burlington, NC. A native of Wake County, he is the son of John Russell Stancil, Jr. and his mother, Amy Lynn Merrill. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his grandparents, Wanda Ross Stancil of Raleigh, NC, and Tom and Deborah Merrill also of Raleigh; Danielle Northam, significant other and mother to his son, Ellis John Stancil of Burlington, NC; and his uncle, William Callie Stancil of Fuquay-Varina, NC. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Russell Stancil, Sr. John was a sweet, loving, and kind person who worked hard to better his life not only for himself but also his family. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. There will be a Celebration of Life held in his memory at a later date.
