John Raymond Hatcher

John R. Hatcher, 88, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family. John was the son of the late Willie and Alice Holland Hatcher.Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Hatcher and sister, Gracie Davis.John is survived by his wife of 71 years; Mavis Adams Hatcher, daughter; Deborah Kohlbeck and husband, Donald; sisters, Maybelle Gower, Polly McClone and Ruby Lee Hogge; brother, William Cliff Hatcher ;grandchildren, Tracie Bray, Brian Bray and wife Meredith, Joshua, Justin and Emily Kohlbeck; great-grandchildren, Mia Guin and Jamison Bray and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. In Lieu of flowers donations to either Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cr.
