John Richard Taylor

John Richard Taylor, 47, formerly of Raleigh died Friday evening, September 14, 2018. He was a graduate of Athens Drive High School and a former estimating project manager with Enviromental Air Systems. John was a sports enthusiast, who enjoyed traveling, working in his yard and music. He loved his family, his church and his black lab “Apple”. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard S. Taylor, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Richard S. Taylor, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Thomas P. and Sue R. Ficklin; uncle, Thomas P. Ficklin, Jr; cousin, Elizabeth D. Drinkard; father-in-law, H. Edward Campbell. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Jennifer C. Taylor; son, Zachary T. Taylor; daughter, Reese D. Taylor; parents, Kenneth R. and Jane F. Truelove; sister, Andrea T. Conn and brother-in-law Travis Conn; grandmother, Lila M. Garrett; mother-in-law, Dell P. Campbell. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 21, 2018 at Rolesville Baptist Church, 203 E. Young Street, Rolesville, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 – 10:45 am Friday, prior to the service.
