John Sims Roberts

WILLOW SPRING – John Sims Roberts, 56, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Born in Massachusetts, he was the son of The Reverend Judith Sims Roberts and the late Richard F. Roberts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his sons, Jacob Roberts and Tyler Roberts; sisters, Sarah Burton of Pope City, FL, Nancy James of St. Louis, MI, and Hilary Roberts of Austin, TX; former wife, Deidra Schlap and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Lipscom.
