Johnny Creech

RALEIGH – Johnny Creech, 86, passed away Thursday at Transitions LifeCare. Born in Nash County, he was the son of the late J. William and Ishley Creech.  He owned Johnny’s Precast and Explosive Inc. and Vice President of G C Utilities Co. Inc. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner, NC with entombment to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, N C. Surviving are his wife, Pansy Burnette Creech; two daughters, Connie Barker (Otha) of Raleigh and Vickie McDuff (Don) of Garner; one son, Greg Creech (Janet) of Garner; sister, Betty Lou Hood of Orlando, Fl.; two grandchildren, Tyler Barker and his girlfriend, Lauren Leslie of Atlanta and Gabrielle Porter of Raleigh and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Braxton Creech and a sister, Margie Joyner. Fishing with Tyler at his home in Atlantic Beach and spending time with Gabrielle were some of his greatest joys. The family will receive friends 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
