Johnson L. Clement, Jr.

J.L. Clement, Jr., (Pappy), son of the late Johnson Lee Clement, Sr. and Nora Louise Deans, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. He was a graduate of Hugh Morson High School and attended business college in Raleigh.  He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS St. Paul.  He was the owner/operator of Clements Hair Styling for 30 years and enjoyed retirement with his life revolving around his family, his dog, “Schnitzel”, time spent at White Lake, and attending his childrens activities. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Wall Clement, and daughters Debbie Grimes (Sammy), Glynnis Brown (Ralph) and son, Chris Clement (Donna), 8 grandchildren and 13 3/4 great grandchildren; and his sister, Edna Boone. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh and other times at the home of Sammy and Debbie Grimes at 1409 Edgebrook Drive, Garner, NC  27529.  Funeral service is 1:00 pm, Monday, November 21, 2016, at Hillyer Memorial Christian Church, 718 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
