Jollie Franklin Eatmon

RALEIGH - Jollie Franklin Eatmon, 85, passed away December 8, 2021 at his home. Born January 30, 1936 he was a son of the late Gar and Ida Grice Eatmon. He was proceeded in death by his brothers Raymond, Jady, Roby and Rayland Eatmon and sisters, Alma Corbett, Ruby Woodard, Beulah Abbott, Delia Creech, and E.J. Brown. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier with Pastor Dennis Pollock officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Although the family will not be present, Mr. Eatmon will lie in state from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Sharon Whittington Eatmon; daughter Tamra Eatmon Ellis and husband Jim of Durham; sister-in-laws, Judith Poole and Jean Eatmon and many nieces and nephews. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions in memory of Jollie Eatmon can be made to Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church at 8001 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd., Willow Springs, NC 27592.
