Jonathan D. Franks, Sr.

Jonathan D. Franks, Sr, 55, passed away at home Feb. 8, 2019. A native of Wake, Co. he was the son of the late Cary B. Franks and Jean McGee Franks. Jonathan spent his entire career working as an Electrician in many different settings. Memorial service will be at 11 AM Thursday Feb. 14, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. He is survived by his two sons; Jonathan Franks, Jr. and wife April, and Tyler Franks and wife Allyson; mother, Jean Franks and special friend Leon Howell; sisters, Wanda Franks, Chandrea Burch and husband Mike, Tamara Cole; brothers, Michael Franks and wife Gloria and C. Barry Franks, two grandchildren Brooklyn and Bentley Franks, stepchildren , Shane St. Pierre and wife Stacie, granddaughters , Savannah, Jessica Dellapenta and husband Alex, their mother Lisa Franks and extended family of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives Wed. Feb. 13 from 6 – 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Baptist World Mission P. O. Box 2149 Dacatur, Al. 35602-2149, specify for Dr. Anne Livingston. Jonathan worked with Dr. Livingston and the family would appreciate support given to her.
