Joseph “Joe” Mcginnis

Joseph McGinnis, 75, passed away Sept. 18, 2018. Joe was a native of Binghamton, N.Y., the son of the late Edward and Mildred McGinnis. Joe retired from I.B.M. where he worked as an engineer for many years. He also proudly served his country in the United Sates Army. There will be a Graveside service at 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church on E. Garner Rd. in Raleigh on Saturday Sept. 22, 2018, with Military Honors. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Barbara Odham McGinnis; daughter, Kristi Oder and husband Jeramie; sons, Mark McGinnis, Michael McGinnis and wife Alison, Kevin McGinnis and wife Christine, David McGinnis and wife Emily; sister, Susie Dixon and husband David; brother, Eddie McGinnis and wife Sandy; three grandsons, five granddaughters ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
