Joseph Ronald “Ronnie” Adams

After a long and valiant fight against cancer, Joseph Ronald “Ronnie” Adams, 61, was surrounded by family as he passed away on December 24, 2016. A lifelong resident of Angier, Ronnie was the son of the late Raythell Green Adams and Emily Blanchard Adams. As a graduate of NC State University (’75), he devoted his life to providing for his family and community through farming and supplying farm services. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan Johnson Adams; son and daughter-in-law Joseph Brandon Adams and Trimble Adams; daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and David Schroder; and sister and brother-in-law June and Wayne Eason. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11 am at Angier Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. The family will receive friends at home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the V Foundation for Cancer Research (jimmyv.org) .
