Joy Denise Johnson

GARNER - Joy Denise Johnson, 53, died Thursday at her home. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Norwood R. and Sarah Ford Johnson. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Aversboro Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Auburn Christian Church Cemetery. Surviving are her sister, Jan Johnson Myers and husband, Todd of Willow Spring; brothers, Johnny Johnson and wife, Elizabeth of League City, TX, Jack Johnson and wife, Debra and Jay Johnson and wife, Peggy all of Garner; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Johnson and wife, Paige, Ryan Johnson and wife, Amanda, Matthew Johnson and wife, Jill, Chris Scott and husband, Adam; Larry Johnson, Jr. and Dory Johnson; great-nieces and nephews, Tatum Johnson, Michaela Johnson, Cade Johnson, Marshall Johnson, Kaylee Scott and Braxton Scott.
