KIPLING– Joy Senter, 59, passed away on Wednesday at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Joy enjoyed working for 23 years at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church Wee Care and 10 years at Food Lion where she formed many wonderful relationships. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. One of Joy’s mother’s requests was that her friends from Food Lion wear their uniforms to the visitation. A private family memorial service will take place on Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. A private family burial will be held at Emerald Isle at a later date. Joy leaves to cherish her memory, her precious son, Josh Senter of Fuquay-Varina; mother, Janie Senter of Kipling; sister-in-law, Denise Senter of Angier; nieces, Melissa, Meredith, Haley and Tatum; great-niece, Breanna; great-nephew, Chandler; very special friends, Carolyn Eason, Xan King, Teresa Benson; God send, Ricky Temple and a host of other family and friends. Joy was preceded in death by her dad, Fred P. Senter; brothers, Phillip Senter and Scott Senter.
