Joyce Bowen Bunn

Garner- Joyce Ann Bowen Bunn, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of Joseph Alton and Carrie Mae Bowen. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who was dearly loved by many and will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Leroy Parker Bunn, Jr.; son, Leroy Parker Bunn III; daughter, Carrie Bunn Cowan (Anthony); grandchildren, Dustin Tyler Cowan (Rachel), Megan Leigh-Anne Cowan; brother, Alton Ray Bowen (Helen), as well as a large and loving extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Alton Bowen, Jr. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
