Judith Massey Stephenson

Garner – Judy Massey Stephenson, 77, passed away on Thursday. A native of Henderson, Judy was born to the late Benjamin Ralph and Christine Murray Massey.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Midway Baptist Church, Raleigh with a visitation prior, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Clayton.

Judy retired from North State Bank after many years as Executive Vice President for business development and commercial lending and want on to work for the Garner Chamber of Commerce in membership development.

Judy spent much of her time volunteering in numerous organizations, including the Garner Rotary Club, North Carolina Heart Association, Zebulon Chamber of Commerce, Hospice of Wake County, and the Wake Salvation Army Corps.

Judy is survived by her brothers, Ronald Wayne Massey (Janet) of Raleigh, Benjamin Phillip Massey (Lee Ann) of Timberlake, Larry Braxton Massey (Wanda) of Wilson, and Marty L. Massey of Kenly, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stephenson.
